The Delegation of the European Union to Norway offers, up to three times per year, the possibility of a traineeship to young graduates and students in the last years of their law, economy or political science studies. The next available traineeship is from January to March 2016.
The length of the traineeships is between three and five months. We have no deadlines within which CVs must be received and we can be flexible as to the start and end dates of every traineeship.
The Delegation offers its facilities at its premises in Oslo, monitoring by a senior EU Official working on the political and economic relationship between Norway and the EU, and the integration of the student in the practical working life of the Delegation’s team.
Unfortunately, our staff regulations do not allow the Delegation to offer any financial contribution to the trainee. The trainees do not have a contractual or employment relationship with the Delegation.
The Delegation accepts trainees of different nationalities, but complete fluency (oral and written) in Norwegian is requested.
The traineeship is specially adapted for those who do not have any professional experience. Students and young professionals who have already benefited from a traineeship at one EU Institution are not eligible for a second period at the Delegation.
